Since James Bond drove a 1986 Aston Martin Vantage, this car has been synonymous with sophistication & style on a whole new level! Now it's the chance for any 13-16 year old to take the wheel for an unforgettable drive around Hampton Downs Raceway in Auckland.
The look and feel of the Aston Martin Vantage simply has to be experienced to be believed. It's flowing lines & stark black and white paint job provide the perfect combination of beauty & strength in one.
Take it all in as you drive for between 5.5kms-8km around Hamptons Downs Raceway while one of our expert tutors guide you on handling this amazing supercar. The noise is unparalleled and the experience will never be forgotten.
Then just when you thought it couldn't get any better, you’ll get the chance to jump into the passenger seat of the awesome Mitsubishi EvoX for a fast lap around the track. A great way to finish off the experience, every seat is as good as the next in this very capable car so whether you’re in the front or the back seat you’ll be smiling when you get out.
Please allow up to 2.5 hours for your thrilling experience. Total drive distance is between 5.5km-8kms (Depending on Driver Ability).
This experience is open to participants aged between 12 – 15 years old. Our teen experiences run at 8:00am on our Track Days (please see the 'Dates' tab for specific dates).
Please note that this is a ‘Driving Experience’ and not a ‘Race Day’, while you will get to experience the performance capabilities of the Supercar speed restrictions will apply on the day.
As a general guide the height restrictions is a minimum 5ft and maximum 6ft 5in. A weight restriction of 120kg, if you are outside of these parameters please call us to discuss available options.
This Supercar is equipped with dual-controls.
SpectatorsAll family and friends are welcome. And if your adult guests bring their Driving License with them they can also drive on the day too (subject to availability).
The Transmission is Automatic.
You must be drug and alcohol free, otherwise we reserve the right to refuse participation.
This experience is available on specific weekdays.
Optional Extras
We offer a damage waiver insurance which is available by paying a fee of $45 on the day. The damage waiver Insurance is void if the participant is found to be driving negligently/dangerously or not listening to the instructors instructions. You can also pre-purchase the waiver by choosing the option on the right hand side of this page.
Photo Packages
We'll have a professional photographer on hand on the day to take photos of you beside the car. The photo can be purchased via the options to the right and this is available to pickup on the day.
Q. Is this experience safe for my teenager?
A: Yes, an experienced driver will be in the passenger seat during the drive and our Supercars have dual-control capabilities.
Q. Are there food and drink facilities at Hampton Downs?
A. There are basic snacks & drinks available for purchase, however we recommend bringing something with you if you want something substantial to eat on the day.
Q. Is this car a Manual or an Automatic?
A. The Transmission is Automatic.
Q. Can my friends and family come watch me drive?
A. Yes, you are welcomed to bring spectators along and share in this great experience and take photos.
Q. Can I get DVD’s and/or Photos of my drive?
A: Yes definitely! We offer USB videos and framed photos. Check out the additional options to add these!
Q. Do you run on weekends?
A. Weekends are typically not available due to race events being held at the track. We run on a Thursday in most cases and periodically on alternate weekdays.
